Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Znapie, the AI clinical assistant developed by CodeSurge AI, across its mobile app and web client. By creating an account or using Znapie, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Znapie

Znapie is intended for licensed doctors and the clinical staff they authorise to act on their behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for keeping your account credentials secure.

2. Clinical responsibility

Znapie is a documentation and workflow assistant. Its AI features — including extracted document data, suggested drafts, and chat answers — are decision support only, and are never a substitute for the doctor’s own clinical judgement. Every AI-suggested value, draft, or extracted field is a proposal for the doctor to review, correct, and confirm before it is relied upon or acted on. The doctor using Znapie remains solely responsible for all clinical decisions and patient care.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Znapie is offered on a trial basis followed by paid subscription plans. Plan features, pricing, and billing cycles are shown in the app before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use Znapie only for legitimate clinical documentation and practice-management purposes.
  • Do not attempt to access another doctor’s patient records or account without authorisation.
  • Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that violates a patient’s or third party’s rights.

6. Data ownership

Patient records entered into Znapie remain the property of the treating doctor and their practice. Znapie acts as the custodian of that data on the doctor’s behalf, in line with our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Znapie reliably available, but the service is provided “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen issues may temporarily affect access.

8. Termination

You may stop using Znapie and cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, misuses the platform, or poses a risk to patient data security.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Znapie after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
